THE PURPOSE OF VICTORY BAPTIST COLLEGE AND SEMINARY
The purpose of Victory Baptist College is to glorify and honor the Lord God. We have set this institution in place to have a Bible School that would teach the TRUTH from the SCRIPTURES and prepare Christians to serve God in their perspective fields of MINISTRY. It is our aim to uphold the WORD OF GOD and honor it. We purpose to teach the TRUTH which will help prevent false doctrine or perversion from the TRUTH. It is no small task set before us, but by God’s grace and help we can and will do just that. So many schools have gone into modernism and liberalism that we approach this great undertaking with fear and trembling. PRAY FOR US!
We purpose to build upon and increase the knowledge of the students, but only for the purpose of using it to better serve the Lord and become more valuable leaders. If service is not increased or made richer, gaining knowledge is of little benefit; it then seems to be only for the greater praise of men.
We purpose to help each student to become a stronger Christian by helping him or her to become more thorough Student of the Word. We, also, purpose to help the churches benefit from their knowledge; therefore, we emphasize responsibility and necessity of Christian Service even while in College. Many of our students who graduate from this institution return to their local churches to serve.
We purpose to give the tools to students to pastor, missionary, teach, counsel, and reach out to others in ministry.
We purpose to impart to our students the highest excellence of learning and academics.
The Apostle Paul said to young Timothy: II Timothy 2:2 “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”
